Lindsey is currently a sophomore at Mercer County Community College studying Elementary Education.  She was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma at age 12 and is still undergoing treatment.  Because she spent the first year of her diagnosis being homeschooled in the hospital, she is now inspired to become a teacher that will homeschool oncology patients.  She encourages others like her "to be strong and always have faith." Lindsey also advocates on behalf of other cancer survivors, having raised over $50,000 for research. She says "I will never give up on my life. I believe I am stronger than my illness and I will come out on top."
