Andre was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma as a freshman at Morehouse College.  Following surgery and chemotherapy he is continuing his studies and is now a sophomore at Eugene Lang College in NY, NY while working to support himself.  Andre has learned a lot about himself and others through his cancer diagnosis and is following his own advice to cancer survivors to "do whatever it is that makes you happy," having just returned from a study abroad program, Semester at Sea. Andre is a two-time award winner.
