Edison was diagnosed with testicular cancer while working full time and studying accounting at DeVry University in Florida.  He continued with both work and school during surgery and treatment and will graduate this year.  He plans to continue studies to be a Certified Public Accountant.  He encourages cancer survivors to educate themselves about all aspects of their disease and treatment, and feels strongly that" education is freedom."
