The application period for the 2009-2010 Scholarship Program is now closed. Please check back in Spring 2010 for next year's application.
About the NCCF Scholarship Program
The National Collegiate Cancer Foundation was established to provide services and support to young adults whose lives have been impacted by cancer and who have continued with their education throughout treatment or after their treatment. These $1,000 competitive awards will be judged based on the criteria listed below.
All scholarships are one time awards. Previous awardees are encouraged to apply each year that awards are offered. However, they must submit a new application each year.
Eligibility: Applicants must meet the all of the following requirements:
1) Cancer survivor with a personal diagnosis2) Must be between the ages of 18-353) Seeking or receiving higher education
Criteria: Applicants will be evaluated based on six criteria:
1) Displaying a “Will Win” attitude with respect to his or her cancer experience2) Quality of essays 3) Financial need 4) Overall story of cancer survivorship5) Commitment to education6) Quality of recommendations
