Hours: Flexible with hours/schedule
Duties: Updating website Writing fundraising proposals Creating long-term business plans Reading and researching cancer related articles Creating and managing all aspects of bi-weekly newsletter Final Project:
Implementing one of the fundraising proposals you developed. The project will provide a hands on experience and you will work directly with the President and Board of Directors of the National Collegiate Cancer Foundation. The NCCF will provide guidelines, but the student should show initiative and willingness to have the project succeed at the highest level. Ideas should be examined early in the internship with the hope of completing it towards the end of the semester.
Qualifications:
School: Undergraduate or Graduate level
Personal: Commitment to helping the cancer community Self motivated and ability to work independently Detailed oriented Proven writing and editing skills Strong computer skills preferred, not required Willingness to organize and manage fundraising event
